"H.ART is the culmination of self-taught mixed media painter and creative, Helen, who's current practice explores the juxtaposition of isolation and identity changes in grief, and the associated 'struggle', while also sharing the simultaneous experience of joy and a sense of living never known 'before' immense loss; with an aim to challenge our biased perceptions, and the masks we wear to show up in the modern world.

Helen creates colorful, bold, textured and expressive pieces through examining tactility, spontaneity, and skill from a therapeutic angle.

A graphic, bold and expressive image of a face, somewhat blended into a scratchy, colourful background, spread using a palette knife and a broad spectrum of colour blended and unblended, as well as paint pens. The work aims to depict the sense of the vibrancy of life around you when you’re trapped in survival mode, unable to see past your own perceptions in freeze, fight, flight and fawn.

Our aim is to have your order processed and delivered to your door as soon as possible, but must remove pieces from our displays before we are able to send them to you. Therefore we may take a couple more days to process your order than some well known online shops.

Once your purchase has been dismounted we will pack and ship (through Royal Mail Tracked 48) within 2-3 working days.
